Q. During the installation I get an error saying the file is corrupt and can't continue with the setup process.
A. When you get the error try to check if any of the following are the problem.
Hard Drive Space
- First check if you have enough hard drive space to download Albatross18.
- Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup
- Reinstall Albatross18
Virus
- Scan your computer for any viruses.
Re-Downloading
- Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program and uninstall Albatross18.
- After removing the program, go to the Albatross18 website, and download Albatross18 setup file again.
If the problem still occurs, then you can contact us through the site, and we will help fix the problem.
Q. What ports do I need to open on my router to play Albatross18?
A. For 99% of our users, you do not need to open up any ports. If you are having problems connecting, you can either set your IP to be the DMZ host (Please refer to your router manual for instructions) or you can open the following ports yourself: 10020, 9182, 9183
Q. When is Albatross18 updated?
A. We update every other Thursday from 6-10AM Pacific Standard Time (-8 GMT). During this time, the server may go up and down repeatedly, so users should refrain from connecting until the maintenance period is over.
